What if I've got special characters in my name and I want a Deed Poll?

If you have special characters in your new name, you may come up against some issues when applying to certain companies who can't update their systems to reflect your name as it's written. It doesn't mean they will reject your application, but they may transliterate the character to the Latin script. For example, José will be transliterated to Jose. If your name is usually written in a different script entirely such as Cyrillic, for example "Дми́трий",  it must be converted into "Dmitri".
